Greyson has experience representing commercial developers, institutional investors, and both private and public companies on a variety of real estate and corporate matters. His expertise lies in transactional law, with a primary focus on the development, acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate. Greyson also assists his clients on a wide array of corporate governance matters, such as structuring joint ventures and advising on governance policies.

Greyson began his legal career as a clerk for Judge Walter W. Davis at the Georgia State-wide Business Court.  He then practiced corporate law at Jones Day, an international AmLaw top 15 firm, where he represented clients across diverse industries, such as consumer goods, entertainment, gaming, chemical manufacturing, healthcare, software, and education. 

Greyson’s journey into law was preceded by a remarkable athletic career, where he earned a football scholarship to both the University of Virginia and the University of Georgia. As quarterback and team captain, Greyson set multiple passing records, showcasing his leadership and strategic prowess on the field. Additionally, he demonstrated his versatility as an athlete by signing with the Texas Rangers as a pitcher in 2017, playing a season for the Rookie Team before transitioning to pursue his legal education.

Greyson attended law school at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a member of the Georgia Law Review and graduated with honors. Greyson also participated on the Georgia Law moot court team, finishing as a quarterfinalist at the national William B. Spong, Jr. Tournament, and was an active member of the Christian Legal Society and Sports and Entertainment Law Society.

Greyson is an avid collegiate and professional sports fan.  He also enjoys sports debate shows, podcasts, and most of all, spending time with his wife and children.

Represented a national commercial real estate developer in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of multiple industrial properties across the United States. 

Advised a global real estate services company through its internal board of directors evaluations.

Represented the world’s largest private educational measurement organization with its acquisition of a testing development, certification and licensing company.   

Advised a cutting-edge leader in biotechnology on its $1.5 million Series A Preferred Stock financing. 

Advised an iconic national producer and marketer of baked goods in its acquisition of another nationally known manufacturer of baked goods.

Advised an international automobile manufacturer and Fortune 100 company on a variety of internal operating and third-party agreements.

Advised the investment and acquisition arm of one of the largest privately held businesses in America on its $400 million strategic equity investment in a leading global supplier of engineered process equipment for animal feed, oilseed processing, extrusion, and thermal processing markets.

Represented one of the largest global sustainable packaging companies in the sale of its protective solutions business to an asset management firm for approximately $80 million. 

Advised multiple nonprofit organizations on various corporate governance matters.

Greyson is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is active in his local church.
